The Black Wildebeest is one of Africa’s most distinctive and territorial trophies. Known for its downward-curving horns and bright white horse-like tail, this "Endemic Icon" provides a challenging and often unpredictable hunt. They are high-energy animals that prefer open plains, meaning you’ll need sharp shooting and a patient stalk to get within range of a mature bull.
What to Expect:
The Hunt: These animals are notoriously "skittish" and fast. The hunt typically involves glassing open areas and executing long-distance stalks. Their erratic "dancing" and territorial displays make for a thrilling and visually spectacular pursuit.
The Trophy: We target mature bulls with heavy, well-developed "bosses" and a deep downward hook in the horns. The contrast between the dark coat and the flowing white tail makes this one of the most striking mounts for any trophy room.
